Polymarket has been unreachable from French internet connections since July 16, 2026, when the Autorité nationale des jeux (ANJ) ordered providers to block the platform, citing 578,751 French visits recorded in June alone. Open interest, the money actually locked into live positions, stood at $4.3 million, with $4.8 million traded in the preceding seven days alone.
