Fake Claude AI Desktop App Used to Spread Crypto-Stealing Malware
Cybersecurity firm Morphisec has identified malware called RevStealer distributed through a counterfeit 'Claude Opus 5 Free Desktop' app, targeting Windows users' passwords and more than 50 cryptocurrency wallets. Kaspersky separately flagged a second framework, OkoBot, aimed at crypto holders.
